For the layman, precision and accuracy are usually the same. To the engineer, they are two fundamentally different things: for example, a series of workpieces can be manufactured very precisely even if they differ greatly from the intended target. That is inaccurate - even if the individual deviations are very close together. Another series reached a high accuracy because all the workpieces are in tolerance. However, since within this tolerance there is a random scattering of the measurements the pieces were still made imprecisely. For such a complex and highly stressed assembly as our P1.18 gear to work reliably and with maximum efficiency, as well as an optimal technical design, maximum precision and accuracy in the production of each component is required. To ensure these high quality standards, we manufacture all internal components of our circuit transmission exclusively through certified, German sports cars and automotive suppliers. Final assembly, quality inspection and functional testing of each gearbox is then done in our own factory. Engineering and craftsmanship are German core competencies. A Pinion gearbox is 100% German and the epitome of these qualities.
