PINION AT THE CYCLING WORLD 2024 IN DÜSSELDORF
From March 15 to 17, 2024, we were once again at this year's CYCLINGWORLD EUROPE - the bicycle trade fair "for the finest cycling culture in Düsseldorf".
PINION PRODUCT MANAGEMENT STRENGTHENED BY INDUSTRY EXPERT
Pinion GmbH, manufacturer of innovative drive systems for bicycles based in Denkendorf near Stuttgart, is delighted to announce that Andy Benz has joined the team as Product Manager in January 2024. As a passionate hobby mountain biker, but above all through his previous activities in the bicycle industry, he brings a wealth of experience to the area of product management at Pinion.
PINION MOTOR.GEARBOX.UNIT HONORED WITH THREE IMPORTANT INDUSTRY AWARDS
Following the successful product launch of the Pinion Motor.Gearbox.Unit and the expansion of Smart.Shift technology (electric shifting, including for non-e-bikes), the course has been set for further growth at the drive specialist from Stuttgart. In order to optimally serve the high demand for Pinion products in the long term, Pinion is strengthening its sales division and making organizational adjustments.

GEOS E-BIKE NOW WITH PINION SMART.SHIFT
The Berlin-based bicycle manufacturer led by Peter Hanstein is known for the timeless design of its e-bikes: a high-quality steel frame with a hard and corrosion-resistant coating and a permanently installed battery. Customers can use the configurator at GEOS to put together their own dream bike.
PINION SMART.SHIFT IN DOWNHILL WORLDCUP
Our Pinion Smart.Shift technology caused a sensation last year with the Stromer ST7. In the future, the electric shift control will also be seen in combination with other e-bikes in the E-Speed and E-Light categories, as well as for the first time as a version with its own power supply for normal Pinion bikes without motor assistance.
For the past two years, the Swiss professional team Gamux Racing has been relying on the advantages of our gearbox technology in professional cycling and is developing its own downhill bikes around the central gear shift.
PRIORITY 600HXT NOW WITH PINION SMART.SHIFT
Prioritiy Bicycles, US bike manufacturer of high-quality, low-maintenance bikes, presents its new “hardcore hardtail” – the Priority 600HXT.
It is the first MTB in the USA equipped with Pinion Smart.Shift (C1.12 gearbox).
DER START-UP EUROBIKE AWARD 2023 GEHT AN… MONOPOLE MIT PINION GETRIEBE!
Das Statement der Award-Jury: Das Toolbike No O1 des Schweizer Start-ups MONoPOLE ist mehr als nur ein weiteres Urban Bike - es ist eine Neuinterpretation des Diamantrahmens.
Der rechteckige Stahlrahmen wird in Frankreich handgeschweißt und integriert ein Mahle X35 E-Bike-System, ein Pinion Getriebe und modulare Gepäckträger.
PINION E-DRIVE SYSTEM WINS THE GOLD AWARD
This year’s Eurobike Gold Award in the “Components” category goes to Pinion! The new E-Drive system with the Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) was named the winner at the official awards ceremony at the Eurobike trade show on Wednesday evening (June 21, 2023).
