The focus of bikepacking is on travelling with as little luggage as possible. This luggage is strapped directly to the bicycle frame in special bags. Popular formats of bikepacking are overnight trips, micro-adventures and tours lasting several days or weeks or endurance races. But what do I take along for bikepacking and what should I leave at home? Adventurer and bikepacking specialist Kilian Reil competed in the Altas Mountain Race in Morocco in February 2020 in self-supply mode and reveals his tips!
