BESPOKED 2024 – AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENT FOR
ALL BIKE ENTHUSIASTS
The Bespoked trade fair is the place to be for all bike enthusiasts and the largest exhibition for custom bikes in Europe! It celebrates the passion for handmade frames and innovative bike technology. It’s not just a trade fair, but a true meeting place for creative minds and cyclists looking for something special. This year, from October 18 to 20, 2024 in Dresden, it was simply fantastic to see our Pinion gearboxes installed in some of the best bikes in the world. We had our own stand and your enthusiasm for cycling and creativity made this event unforgettable. A huge thank you to everyone who came by to share stories, laugh and celebrate the beauty of handmade bikes. We can’t wait to do it all again.
The highlights of Bespoked 2024
An absolute highlight of this year’s Bespoked was undoubtedly Huhn Cycles with their extraordinary Tallbike. This unique bike is the focus of a planned tour from Munich to Beijing, which is due to start on May 1, 2025. For every kilometer ridden, 1 euro will be collected – a great project for the benefit of German Cancer Aid. But other exhibitors and frame builders also shone with their craftsmanship and innovative concepts. Drust Cycles, Abes and Nicolai showed how they can advance the bicycle world with craftsmanship and innovative concepts.
The new Sour Bikes x Meißner Raeder model, called Purple Pie, is particularly worth mentioning. Presented for the first time as a 3D print for Bespoked, this all-road/gravel crossover bike combines innovative technology with aesthetic design. From May 2025, it will be available with a pioneering Smart.Shift battery integration. Particularly impressive is the specially developed bridge, which fully integrates the battery and at the same time offers the option of removing it for separate charging.
M83 and Veloheld also caused a stir with their new Smart.Shift gravel bikes. Veloheld also presented a new MTB model, also with Smart.Shift technology. The DH bike from Gamux also attracted a lot of attention with its robust design and sophisticated technology. Urwahn presented the new Stadtfuchs live for the first time. With its minimalist design, Mahle hub motor and flat bar, it was an innovative commuter bike that really stood out at the trade fair.
There was also a lot to discover at our Pinion stand: Martin from Meißner Räder was on site and looked after our stand together with Dirk and the two colleagues from Gates. It was a great opportunity to get in direct contact with visitors and have exciting conversations about the latest developments in the world of bicycles.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to share stories, laugh and celebrate the beauty of handmade bikes. It was fantastic to see so many passionate cyclists, talented makers and innovative minds gathered together. We are already looking forward to next time!
