Cargo Bike of the Year Award 2021
In spring 2021, we founded a new division, PINION INDUSTRIAL, and introduced our Pinion T-(ransport) line. As the name suggests, with the T-line we offer gearboxes adapted for use in industrially used cargo bikes. As a relatively new player in the growing heavy duty/transport bike market, we are especially pleased that two out of three vehicles with Pinion drive technology won the prestigious industry award in the heavy duty cargo bike category.

André Claußen, board member of tricargo eG, is delighted with the award: “We are proud to produce the best electric tricycle in the world here in Hamburg. Four years of development have paid off. With the prototypes of the Lademeister, we have delivered our customers’ goods over more than 150,000 km in our own logistics division, tested the Lademeister in the tough day-to-day logistics environment, and continued to improve it. For us, engineering and practice go hand in hand. We focus on robust and reliable components, a high loading capacity and safety and maneuverability when riding.”
Further information, technical data and areas of application of the Lademeister cargo bike are available directly from the manufacturer tricargo.
A-N.T. Cargo:4
Not visible from the outside, but inside the A-N.T. Cargo:4 runs a Pinion gearbox and provides smooth shifting performance with a payload of up to 250 kg. The four-wheeled heavy duty cargo bike is versatile and is available in different variants.
Andrea Escher (Pinion GmbH), Wolfgang Hindel (B&P Mobility) and Michael Halfpap (A-N.T. Cargo) are happy about the 3rd prize at the “Cargo Bike of the Year Awards 2021”.
During the excursion day at the Radlogistik conference, several inner-city kilometers came together in Frankfurt. The A-N.T. Cargo:4 transported several crates of sparkling water for the conference participants. Further information, technical data and application areas of the Cargo:4 are available directly from the manufacturer A-N.T. Cargo.
