The municipality of Houten in the Netherlands has purchased 26 speed pedelecs from Klever to optimize the work of the volunteer fire department. The S-Pedelecs with the C1.9 Pinion gearbox enable the volunteers to get to the fire station quickly and in an environmentally friendly way after being alerted. With a top speed of 45 km/h, they offer the perfect and sustainable alternative to a normal car, especially for short distances.
Due to the low-maintenance belt drive and the innovative Pinion gearbox, the Klever N Pinion 45 model was deliberately chosen. Safety features such as powerful lighting, brake lights and indicators are emphasized – ideal for visibility, even in the dark.
The purchase underlines Houten’s focus on sustainability and efficiency. In addition to reducing car traffic, the helpers benefit from the easy handling of the pedelecs. The municipality is thus demonstrating how modern technologies can improve the everyday lives of emergency services. Highly recommended for imitation.
