JONGERIUS TRAVL PINION IS „BIKE OF THE YEAR 2023“ IN THE NETHERLANDS

8. March 2023

The Jongerius TravL Pinion is named “Bicycle of the Year 2023”. In the Netherlands, this is the highest award a bicycle can receive.

The jury of several members, including journalists from relevant cycling magazines and experts from the cycling industry, evaluated a wide variety of aspects. These included, for example, design and style, safety, handling and comfort, materials, price-performance ratio, originality and innovation. In the category “Standard”, the Jongerius TravL Pinion impressed the jury and took first place. “Every detail is well thought out and the handling shows that the bike has been put together with care and
love,” so the verdict.

Jongerius bikes are custom assembled in Vleuten in true craftsmanship. Depending on the application, the TravL Pinion is available with C1.12 or P1.18 gearbox (in black, silver, red or blue). Frame size, color, lighting, wheel size can also be ordered individually. The Jongerius TravL Pinion was originally developed as the ultimate bike for bicycle travel. The rear chainstay is positioned high. Thus, no opening of the frame for belt mounting or dismounting is necessary. Thanks to the Pinion gearbox in conjunction with the Gates belt drive, the bike is absolutely low maintenance – it is simply the perfect sporty “all-rounder”.
