PINION E-DRIVE SYSTEM WINS THE GOLD AWARD
This year’s Eurobike Gold Award in the “Components” category goes to Pinion! The new E-Drive system with the Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) was named the winner at the official awards ceremony at the Eurobike trade show on Wednesday evening (June 21, 2023).
PINION LAUNCHES REVOLUTIONARY NEW E-DRIVE SYSTEM
WORLD’S FIRST. MOTOR AND GEARBOX. FINALLY UNITED. At the Eurobike Pinion recently presented the new E-Drive system. The drivetrain is the heart of an e-bike. Until now, this has consisted of two separate systems – a gearshift and a motor, which usually come from different manufacturers and yet somehow have to work together. The consequences are bad shifting performance, high wear, followed by high maintenance with enormous costs. The Pinion Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) is here to change that.
PINION X MAHLE FIRST TIME AT DESIKNIO CYCLES
Behind the triple constellation “Pinion X Mahle X Desiknio” is an E-light drive integration of the next generation!
New for the first time for the model year 2024 is the combination of Pinion Smart.Shift and the intelligent and lightweight Mahle drive system. It was developed in collaboration with Desiknio Cycles.
PINION E-CARGOBIKE CONVINCES TEST EDITORS
In the latest test by the Karl and Elektrobike editorial teams, e-bikes were put under the microscope. Among the 14 models was the Bullitt ePinion: a custom build equipped with C1.12 gearbox, Neodrives rear motor and Gates timing belt.
VAB SELECTS ASKA SUPER COMMUTER AS SPEED PEDELEC OF THE YEAR
At the end of March, VAB announced the winners of the "Bike of the Year Awards 2023". And - in the Speed Pedelecs category, the ÅSKA Super Commuter, equipped with the C1.6 Pinion gearbox, was named the winner!

JONGERIUS TRAVL PINION IS „BIKE OF THE YEAR 2023“ IN THE NETHERLANDS
The Jongerius TravL Pinion is named "Bicycle of the Year 2023". In the Netherlands, this is the highest award a bicycle can receive.

PINION´S GEARBOX AND GATES CARBON DRIVE BELT IN UCI REGULATIONS 2023 PERMITTED
Details of the Gamux Factory Racing Team were recently released - Pinion will also be supporting the Swiss team in 2023. The two riders - Mike Huter (Men - Pro U19) and Lino Lehmann (Men - Elite) - will compete in various international downhill world cup races riding the Gamux Sego, a Pinion-equipped bike featuring a belt drive from Gates Carbon Drive.

Wohooo! We have won! Already for the eighth time the MTB-News User Award 2023 was awarded and we are among the lucky winners!
For the second year in a row, we were able to grab place number 3 in the category "drives" - behind the well-known competitors SRAM and Shimano.
