From March 15 to 17, 2024, we were once again at this year’s CYCLINGWORLD EUROPE – the bicycle trade fair “for the finest cycling culture in Düsseldorf”.
This year, we were not only represented with our own stand in the Alte Schmiedehalle on the Areal Böhler, but also for the first time in the outdoor area in the Testarea with a large fleet of test bikes. Around 450 test riders gave us their bikes back with big grins on their faces – the best feedback we could wish for.
Our presentation focused on the Pinion E-Drive system with the Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) at its heart. But our Smart.Shift technology on non-e-bikes such as the Pilot Scram Pinion was also very well received by visitors. We are particularly proud of the Cylingworld Award, which the organizers presented for the first time. The high-caliber jury of experts Dirk Zedler, Michael Lanz, Maike Hora, Paul Kefer and Wolfgang Scherreiks awarded us 1st place in the Urban Bike Award Sport for our Desiknio X20 Pinion Smart.Shift.
The organizer of Cyclingworld Europe reported a new visitor record of 25,000 bicycle enthusiasts, which clearly shows the great enthusiasm for the subject of bicycles. next year we plan to be at the start again and are already looking forward to it.
