PINION E-DRIVE SYSTEM WINS THE GOLD AWARD

This year’s Eurobike Gold Award in the “Components” category goes to Pinion! The new E-Drive system with the Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) was named the winner at the official awards ceremony at the Eurobike trade show on Wednesday evening (June 21, 2023). The Pinion motor-gearbox unit completely convinced the renowned jury of experts from the bike and mobility industry. In addition, the two launch partners Tout Terrain and Kettler were also on stage with their MGU bikes – Tout Terrain also scooped the Gold Award.

The Eurobike Award 2023 is a prestigious award for innovative and high-quality products in the bicycle and future mobility industry and is presented at the leading international Eurobike trade show. A wide variety of aspects play a role in the award: degree of innovation, functionality, sustainability, design, quality of workmanship, and choice of materials.

The Pinion MGU, the world’s first fully integrated motor gearbox unit for e-bikes, was awarded the Audience Award at the VR INNOVATIONs Award 2025. The award ceremony took place on July 10 as part of the VR Innovation Congress at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden in front of over 1,000 guests from the worlds of business, SMEs and finance.

With the official handover of a Pinion MGU (Motor.Gearbox.Unit) and a Bulls Vuca EVO AM 2 to the Deutsches Museum in Munich, these innovative products from Pinion and Bulls become part of the new mountain biking exhibition set to open in fall 2025. Already now, the MGU and the Vuca EVO AM 2 are on display in the museum’s entrance area – as technological highlights and symbols of the future of cycling.
