A successful bike season starts with well-trained specialist dealers. That’s why Pinion has launched a comprehensive training program together with system partner FIT in the winter months of 2024/2025 to optimally prepare specialist dealers for the latest technologies. The high demand shows that technical know-how is a decisive success factor in consulting, sales and service.
A total of almost 900 dealers took part in the practical training sessions at over 30 locations in the DACH region as well as in Benelux and France. Due to the great response, additional dates have already been scheduled until spring 2025.
The training courses imparted practical specialist knowledge about the Pinion motor gear unit (MGU). Participants received comprehensive training on transmission shifting in general, MGU design and functions, installation, electrical shifting technology and troubleshooting topics. FIT supplemented this with its expertise in service processes, maintenance tools and digital services. In the practical part, diagnostic options and common sources of error were analyzed.
Anyone who has not yet had the opportunity to take part in a Pinion X FIT Dealer Training course can find out about upcoming dates on the FIT website.
