PINION service & support in Switzerland
Pinion starts with its own distributor in Switzerland: The entire range of accessories and spare parts is now available via Velobaze AG. This means improved service and warranty claim efficiency for the Swiss cycling retailers and thus, of course, for all Swiss Pinion riders.
Pinion is growing fast – also in Switzerland. The brand now took an important next step and established a local service base in Switzerland to handle the increased demand efficiently. Long-term Pinion partner Velobaze – known for distributing prestigious brands such as MTB Cycletech and GT – is now also taking over Pinion Service for swiss bicycle dealers. A step that shows the dedication to dealer and customer support: a good product needs good service. Velobaze headquartered in Bassersdorf near Zürich can now offer Swiss bicycle dealers – and thus all Pinion cyclists – an even more efficient local service for accessories, spare parts, or warranty claims. www.velo.com

TOP Marks for Pinion
The Trekkingbike magazine has tested twelve touring bikes with Pinion gearboxes and Rohloff hub. The six Pinion models in issue 3/2015 reaches three times the top grade „super“, twice a „very good“.
Have touring bikes with derailleur had its day? This question may arise, who studies the current Trekkingbike special magazine. Twelve noble, durable, lightweight, and – thanks to transmission – absolutely maintenance free Trekking bikes are tested and presented in detail. Pinion bikes get the top score. A “Super” Result for the „Maxx Crossmax Pinion 12“, for the „Opinion TI Travel Spec Idworx“ and for the „Norwid Spitsbergen PI“. The testers especially liked not only the smooth running of the Pinion gearbox. Also switching itself functioned “as soft as butter“. There is the right gear for each speed or pitch, it says in the article. Another statement for Pinion: Removing the rear wheel works easy and fast.
Also the KTM Lontano had been testet. the bike of the globetrotter Niko Krauland, who is currently on his trip around the world. The testers did not like the horizontal dropout, otherwise certify the Lontano “active driving geometry and handling, agile character, high rigidity”. How Niko beats on tour with the Lontano, you read here: http://pinion.eu/en/pinion-in-action/

We like to knew – Your experiences with a Pinion Bike
Dear Pinion Rider.
In the last months, bicycles with Pinion gearboxes were almost ubiquitous in cycling press. No magazine that is not reporting about the Pinion Product Family, testing Pinion bikes and experiencing the special shift feel and quality. Good tests are fine. Yet that’s only half the story. Decisive the unique driving experience with a Pinion bike is to be on the road. Each of you, in your own way. Tell us about it! We look forward to your opinions, impressions, images and videos with your Pinion bike.

A highlight was certainly the large gear-special made by Trekkingbike magazine. There six Pinion bikes were tested through its paces – and took top results – More about that later on.
