Behind the triple constellation “Pinion X Mahle X Desiknio” is an E-light drive integration of the next generation!
New for the first time for the model year 2024 is the combination of Pinion Smart.Shift and the intelligent and lightweight Mahle drive system. It was developed in collaboration with Desiknio Cycles.

The Spanish manufacturer’s unique e-light bikes are the first to combine the maintenance-free Pinion transmission with Smart.Shift technology, a Gates belt drive made of carbon, and the Mahle X20 or X30 hub motor system to create a worry-free and innovative drivetrain for stylish, lightweight e-bikes.

The Desiknio X20 Pinion Smart.Shift features a 250W hub motor, 240Wh integrated battery and central shifting, and weighs less than 15kg.

With the successful completion of the FIT X PINION dealer training tour 2025/2026, FIT and Pinion can look back on an intensive and practical training season. Over the past few months, around 1,000 specialist dealers from all over Europe took part in the training courses and prepared themselves specifically for the requirements of selling and servicing modern e-bikes.

PINION and FIT kick off the new training season: With the PINION X FIT dealer training tour 2025/2026, the two partners are once again bringing practical training directly to specialist dealers throughout Europe. A total of 46 dates at 35 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium are on the agenda.
